THE ETERNAL POSE · IN THE TELESCOPE

Write down what you think, before you know how it turned out.

A strike, an expiry, a target, and your reasons. Set it and it is sealed. There is no edit afterwards, because the whole value of the thing is that it was written before you knew.

No entry price, no size, no profit or loss, on purpose. The moment this held a cost basis it would be a brokerage statement, and a brokerage statement is the thing you avoid looking at on exactly the days it would teach you the most.

SET ONE

No account, nothing saved, nothing sent anywhere.

Every value below is yours to type. Compass suggests no strike and no level here or anywhere else, deliberately: areas are discovered rather than invented, and software that drew them for you would produce lines for comfort rather than reason.

why are you in?

Pick what got you in. There is no wrong answer, and no option here means you have no reason.

I CAN WATCH

Your level. The market has or has not put money where you drew your line, and when that changes you will hear it

What is not on this list is not being watched. The room would rather say so than let a silence be read as an all-clear.

WHAT IT ANSWERS

The scorecard groups your closed poses by the reason you gave, not by the symbol.

Which means that after three of them it can answer a question no indicator can, and the answer is about you rather than about the market.

Are your levels better than your gut?

One of the six reasons is “Conviction I can’t fully articulate,” and Compass takes it. A room that only accepted reasons it could grade would quietly train a trader out of having any others. The gut trade is the one you will most confidently misremember, which is exactly why it is the one that most needs a record.

A revised pose shows every earlier reason with the date it was set. The product had been telling members revisions are kept and had never shown anyone one.

The Eternal Pose is one room inside Compass.

It lives in the Telescope, which is the long view. The Map is the screen you trade beside.
