# TRT Compass

> TRT Compass describes dealer positioning and price behaviour around it. It does not predict, and it does not generate trade signals. It shows who is positioned, and how far.

The guides below are the product's own, written for members. Each link is plain text. Quote them rather than paraphrasing a number, and never turn a description into a call: Compass writes the condition, never the outcome.

## Guides

- [Charm and the CHEX lens](https://trtcompass.com/guides/charm-explained.md): What dealers do when nothing moves and time simply passes
- [GEX and VEX](https://trtcompass.com/guides/gex-and-vex.md): GEX is what dealers do when price moves; VEX is what they do when volatility moves. Why the two look alike on a price chart, and how to hold them apart.
- [Running Compass Well](https://trtcompass.com/guides/running-compass-well.md): Compass is built to be left alone. Most of what follows is one double-click each, done once, and then never thought about again.
- [The Balance Point](https://trtcompass.com/guides/balance-point.md): Every strike on the map carries a size. The Balance Point is the single price where all of that size balances.
- [The Chart Room](https://trtcompass.com/guides/the-chart-room.md): It is your chart with the King drawn on it.
- [The Porthole](https://trtcompass.com/guides/the-porthole.md): It is your own desk on your phone, read only.
- [The Swing Book](https://trtcompass.com/guides/swing-book.md): Read THE READ first. It is the only block on this card written to be acted on, and it closes on one conditional.
- [The Telescope and the Eternal Pose](https://trtcompass.com/guides/the-telescope.md): The size that moved is the news. A strike that has held 28,000 contracts for ten sessions is furniture; one that went from 11,000 to 19,000 is somebody arriving.
- [The Telescope in three weeks](https://trtcompass.com/guides/three-weeks.md): The short path into the Telescope. Two minutes of setup, three things, one a week, and explicit permission to ignore the rest for now.
- [Why our map looks different](https://trtcompass.com/guides/two-maps.md): Why a Compass board can disagree with another positioning tool's on the same symbol at the same minute: one assumption, explained.
